During her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences, Puck picked up an interest in various topics, such as genetics, immunology and molecular biology. She did the LUMC half minor Infections in Health and Disease, including a four-week research internship in Makassar, Indonesia. Currently, she joined the vascular research group of Prof. Dr. Quax and Dr. De Vries for her Student Research Project in the last year of her Bachelor’s. Together with her supervisor Nicky Kruit, she is researching the effects of perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) browning on the morphology and the (immune) cell populations in the vascular wall and PVAT.
