Benthe  Beintema

Research & Curriculum

Benthe is currently a third-year bachelor student in Biomedical Sciences. Throughout her studies, she has developed a strong interest in cardiovascular diseases, immunology, and genetics. For her bachelor project, she has joined the vascular research group of Prof. Dr. Quax and Dr. de Vries. Under the supervision of Nicky Kruit, she is working on a project investigating the effects of perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) browning on vascular remodeling following vein graft surgery.
